Everyone is welcome at Pixie Park

Pixie Park welcomes families and caregivers of children ages six and younger who meet the park’s published eligibility and safety requirements.

Families who enroll become participating members of our nonprofit cooperative. They receive regular access to the playground while helping advance its charitable mission through membership dues, volunteer service, and community involvement.

What Membership Means

On this website, “members” means families and caregivers enrolled to participate in Pixie Park’s programs and cooperative operations. Membership does not confer ownership of the park or a financial interest in the organization.

Membership fees support playground maintenance, safety, programs, participation assistance, and the continued operation of Pixie Park.

How Families Participate

Learning Through Play

Children explore nature and develop physical, imaginative, and social-emotional skills through age-appropriate outdoor play.

A Safe Environment

Our fully enclosed playground is designed specifically for very young children. Enrolled participating families receive an access code that helps us maintain a safe and appropriately controlled setting.

Community Connections

Children learn and play together while parents, grandparents, and caregivers build supportive relationships.

Volunteer Stewardship

Participating families help maintain and improve the park and support programs, outreach, and other activities that further our nonprofit mission.

Programs and Activities

Families can participate in music, seasonal celebrations, special activities, volunteer projects, and other programs created for young children and their caregivers.

Accessible Participation

We want eligible families to be able to participate regardless of financial circumstances. Reduced-fee and no-fee memberships are available based on financial need.

If membership fees would prevent your family from participating, please contact membership@pixiepark.org for a confidential conversation.

Community Access

Families interested in learning more about Pixie Park are invited to attend a monthly open house. Open houses allow community members to explore the playground, meet participating families, and learn how the cooperative operates.

Participating in Our Cooperative

Pixie Park has no paid staff. Our programs and daily operations are made possible by the shared support of participating families, volunteers, donors, and community partners.

Families are encouraged to contribute their time and talents in ways that fit their abilities and schedules. Together, we care for the playground and preserve it for future generations of young children.
